Video: Alabama Anglers Rescue Two Swimming Kittens

Two men fishing the Black Warrior River in Alabama brought new meaning to the term “catfishing” this weekend when they brought an unexpected catch aboard: two young kittens.

Jason Frost and Brandon Key were putting along on the river when they noticed a tiny kitten swimming toward their boat. After it got close, Frost pulled the mewling orange-and-white feline aboard and gave it some comforting pets.

“Is this not the craziest thing y’all have ever seen?” Frost asks the camera.

The anglers were then joined by another kitten that swims from shore right up to their boat—which may even be the first cat’s twin, based on how similar they look.

I really don’t know how to describe this video, but the Warrior River never fails to surprise me……this puts a new spin on the term “catfishing”
