Video: Watch Hundreds of Guns Blow Up a Car, Set to Classical Music

The fall Big 3 East event in Daytona Beach, Florida ended with a bang last Friday—several bangs, to be precise. After lunch, nearly all of the event’s participants lined up at the rifle range to perforate a wrecked BMW smothered with explosive targets. At a signal, shooters opened up on the car and blew it apart.

It was awesome.

I recorded it on my camera, but the audio didn’t turn out too well. To compensate for that, the OutdoorHub team set it to Pachelbel’s Canon in D. I think it turned out to be very relaxing.

Here’s a version with the original audio. You should probably turn down your volume if you want to watch this one.

I've been a history and gun enthusiast since I was a kid. I love to shoot just about anything, from silenced bolt-action .22s to fully automatic heavy machine guns, and I love even more when I get to write about them. My main interests are modern small arms and the military small arms of World War II and prior conflicts, with a particular focus on Russian and Finnish firearms. Reading about guns like the Mosin-Nagant rifle in books and on the internet got me interested in collecting, shooting, and writing about them, and I hope to do the same for others through my work.
