Video: A Simple Way to Heat Your Home for Free Using Junk Mail

Not everyone has access to affordable firewood, but even in this digital age junk mail still fills up your mailbox. Why not use that waste paper to heat your home?
YouTuber Tiny House Listings made this tutorial video to show viewers how to turn junk mail and newspapers into heating fuel. The process is actually fairly simple. Essentially, you just use a drill to grind up wet paper pulp. Then you press the excess water out of the block of pulp and let it dry. The uploader of the video recommends that the drying process be done on a warm summer day because of the length of time it takes. With that said, if you actually want to heat your home in the winter time you will need to plan ahead in the summer months.
Of course you could just use firewood or fuel pellets to heat your home, but if you have some extra time on your hands these is a pretty efficient idea.
