Video: Squawking Pheasant Follows Hunter Around

When was the last time you found yourself running away from a pheasant? If they’re following you around, squawking like crazy and scaring all the deer away, then you may want to hoof it. This bowhunter found himself in an awkward situation after he discovered that a pheasant had been tracking him through the brush.
It was fun at first, but then the pheasant insisted on following him. What resulted was a hilarious situation in which the hunter found himself fleeing from the bird.
“I’d like to eat you,” he said at one point.
There is the chance that the pheasant was human-raised, which explains its almost complete lack of fear. Then again, maybe it just wanted to pursue a career as a hunting dog.
