Video: Black Rhino Lose Its Cool and Charges Toward Photographer

If a black rhino started charging at your vehicle, would you stick around to shoot pics of it? This person was photographing a black rhino when it suddenly began to charge. When it did, the cameraman continued to film it instead of driving away. Fortunately, it looks like he made it out safely as a collision never occurs in the video.

This took place in Kruger National Park in South Africa. The two men in the vehicle were looking for a cheetah when they came upon the rhinoceros and decided to stop and film it.

Black rhinos usually weigh 2,000-3000 pounds, measure 10 to 13 feet long and stand close to 6 feet at the shoulders. They are not a species to be scoffed at, and one charging full-speed ahead must have been quite frightening. Maybe the photographer didn’t have his camera zoom set right and thought the rhino was a lot farther away than it really was?
