Minn Kota has just released a 40-second video tease showing the new bow-mount Minn Kota trolling motor it plans to unveil next week at the 2016 ICAST industry-only fishing show.

Anyone who is familiar with bow-mount trolling motors, and specifically those offered by Minn Kota, can quickly see by watching this tease that it is unlike anything offered previously. You deploy it like a cable-steer motor (think Fortrex), but it drives like an electric-steer motor (think Ulterra). Interesting!

Diehard bass guys might finally have a GPS-enabled trolling motor that deploys and steers like their favorite cable-drive. In short, the best of both worlds.
