Video: Octopus Does Its Best Facehugger Impersonation

This small octopus did its best facehugger impersonation, except it might have just been trying to make a new friend.

The scuba diver swims down to get a better look at the octopus gliding through the water. Just then, the octopus takes notice and latches onto the diver’s mask. It’s hard to tell whether this was an attack on the octopus’s part, or if it was just trying to hang out on the guy’s mask for a while.

Either way, it’s a striking resemblance to the scene in the popular horror movie “Alien,” where facehugger originated from.
