Beaver Caught Destroying Christmas Section at Dollar General, Bah Humbug!

St. Mary’s County Sheriff officer, Cpl. Yingling responded to a destruction of property call Monday at a Dollar General store. But when he arrived, Yingling found an unusual culprit causing quite a ruckus.

This kerfuffle at the Dollar General was all caused by a beaver, who apparently isn’t too fond of Christmas. He was caught red handed by Cpl. Yingling destroying the Christmas section shelf by shelf. Bah Humbug! Yingling snapped a few photos for the Sheriff’s office Twitter, and you can see their post below:

Thankfully, the incident was resolved and the beaver was released to a wildlife rehabilitator safely.
