Video: Drake Mallard Makes a Great Entrance Onto Frozen Lake

With the winter weather moving through this weekend here in Michigan, we thought this video was a perfect representation of how we’re getting this week started. Hopefully we can all slide through the week with as much grace as this drake mallard.
We’ll give this drake a 10 out of 10 on the landing. Ducks don’t often make an appearance as good as this guy; he was probably just hoping the ladies were there to see it.
Ice is slowly beginning to form on the lakes, and this duck is clearly just as excited as we are. If you’re like me, you’re counting down the days until there’s some solid ice out there. In fact, once the ice does arrive, you can bet I’ll be doing my best impression of this duck once I hit the ice.
