Trump Nominates Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court

President Trump has officially nominated Judge Neil Gorsuch to fill Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat on the United States Supreme Court.
Neil Gorsuch, of Denver, Colorado, is apparently President Trump’s front runner for the important role. Gorsuch is known to be an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt, fish and ski.
In the tweet below, Judge Gorsuch and the late Justice Scalia pose for a picture while out fishing in Colorado. As mentioned before, Gorsuch is described as someone who can’t get enough of the outdoors. He’s apparently very fond of fly fishing, and is also a double black diamond skier.
It is noteworthy, however, that we have yet to see how Gorsuch rules on Second Amendment cases. He has never ruled on such a case, which will certainly be worth keeping an eye on, granted he is appointed this new role.
