Upland hunters in pursuit of “the king,” and all other upland species, may want to avoid this close relative of the grouse after seeing this . . . just believe us.
The western capercaillie, (or just capercaillie) also known as the wood grouse, is the largest member of the grouse family, and apparently the most friendly, too!

Even the wildlife is getting sick of people using their cellphones in the woods! Sure hope that isn’t work he’s talking to. . . I don’t think the boss would buy the “I have a giant grouse violating me on my shoulders” excuse.
