This is an awesome idea for any turkey hunters who are fortunate enough to add another tail fan to their trophy room this season.
Nicole Larson has a strong passion for turkey hunting and art, so naturally she found a way to combine her two favorite passions and turn tail feathers into a whole new kind of trophy.
“My favorite thing about painting the turkey feathers is the fact that I not only captured my own canvas, but the fact that I’m utilizing the entire bird,” Nicole said. “Nothing goes to waste for me. It’s more than just a canvas, it’s a canvas with a story. Every turkey; they come from different places, they have different adventures, they each have their own story!”
I don’t know about you, but this sure puts the pressure on for this season, because I definitely would like to add a hand-painted tail fan to my trophy room.
