“We’re excited to once again have a president who respects the Second Amendment,” an NRA spokeswoman said.

After being endorsed for President last May by the National Rifle Association, Donald Trump has agreed to speak at the NRA’s upcoming annual convention in Atlanta.

During his campaign, Trump frequently spoke out in support of the Second Amendment and against “gun free zones.” Trump’s Supreme Court Judge Neil Gorsuch is well known for backing the right to carry guns.

The NRA is ecstatic about President Trump’s appearance on April 28.

“The NRA is honored to have the president address our annual meeting at the leadership forum,” spokeswoman Jennifer Baker told Bloomberg. “We’re excited to once again have a President who respects the Second Amendment.”

Trump is the first President to address the forum since Ronald Reagan did so 34 years ago.

  1. As a NRA life member, I take no pleasure in this. He is an ignoramus and a con man and will turn on us in an instant if he thinks it will help him.

    1. So you would of rather had the anti 2A Hillary instead ? He is far from being an “ignoramus” Rude, opens mouth too soon at times, but stands his ground, what this country had been needing for a long time! For being a NRA member you sound very pro Obama/Clinton.
