When it comes to special days set aside to honor important people in our lives, sitting at the top of the list has to be Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 14, in case you still need to buy your mom a card and/or gift).
We recently enjoyed a wonderful commercial from Carhartt featuring a young mother who is shooting her bow at a backyard archery range. The daughter hands Mom arrows and then gives her a big hug at the end of the clip. You can see the commercial by clicking the CarbonTV MudbuM video below. (Note: Don’t be afraid to watch the short fishing clip, too. We’re pretty sure the MudbuM boys will skip fishing on Mother’s Day, or if they invite their mothers along, they’ll do a bit better than eating cut-bait sandwiches!)
This archery-themed commercial is part of a larger Mother’s Day campaign from Carhartt. You can click the video below to see an outstanding tribute to moms in all walks of life.
Per a recent Carhartt announcement: We made this film because when you work at Carhartt, you’re constantly inspired by strong women on a daily basis – from the women who work in our own factories in Kentucky and Tennessee, to the women who wear our jackets and bibs on the farms, ranches and high rises of America. We’ve been making workwear for women since the 1940s, when Rosie the Riveter showed the world she can build or fix anything. We see that spirit alive and well in the real women and moms in this film. While the film is certainly an ode to moms everywhere – it’s meant for any woman, man or child, who comes from a strong woman. #AllHailMom
