Video: Florida Lake Swarming with Dozens of Alligators

A video posted to Facebook showing dozens of alligators swimming in a restoration area near Lake Apopka in Orlando, Florida, is getting a lot of attention on social media.

The video, which has since been taken down, was filmed by Paul Hueber at the Lake Apopka North Shore, according to WFTV. Hueber apparently added the caption “swim at your own risk” to the video before it was deleted.

This gator invested lagoon is located just north of Lake Apopka, and it’s definitely one place you don’t want to go swimming!
