Video: University of Florida Unveils New Gator-Themed Uniforms

The Florida Gators will take the field to face off against Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday, and the boys from Gainesville, Florida, will look more like their famous mascot than ever before . . .
The Gators will be rocking a brand new alternate uniform from Nike that literally resembles alligator skin, and some people are really freaking out:

According to CBS 62, the university said the uniforms took 18 months to design and produce, and plans on wearing them only this one time.
P.S. A really cool moment occurred at the Gator’s previous home game, when Gator fans all joined in on a touching tribute to Tom Petty. The song ‘Won’t Back Down‘ began playing on the stadium’s sound system, and let’s just say it’s nearly impossible to watch what happened next without getting chills:
