Video: New Xtended Range Bismuth Turkey Load from Winchester

Winchester came out with a new shotshell load for 2018, and if you plan on chasing spring turkeys, you’ll want to find this on the ammo rack.

This is a really special round for a few reasons, but mainly because Winchester loaded it up with bismuth shot in a shot lock resin. It’s very similar to what turkey hunters have come to love about Winchester’s Long Beard XR round.

The resin in this load acts as a “microbuffer,” and it keeps the shot perfectly protected until it gets fired and out the bore of the shotgun.
