In the latest development of stores banning the sale of semi-automatic rifles, Kroger just upped the ante once more.
After increasing the required age to buy firearms in its Fred Meyer stores, Kroger has now told magazine distributors “after much consideration” they have decided to remove gun magazines from all locations.
A post on Facebook goes into more detail about the announcement, but it specifically calls for:
- Removal of magazines with “assault weapons” contentĀ
- Placement of “non assault” gun titlesĀ to the top tier of mainline
- Verify placement of “non assault” gun titles are next to Teen titles or Kids books
