A deputy with the Placer County sheriff’s office is on video busting the window of a car to rescue a bear that was trapped inside.
The video was posted to the Placer County sheriff’s office Facebook page. It shows deputy Lade carefully scaling the side of a Subaru Outback, and smashing the rear driver-side window allowing the bear to jump out and flee the scene.
They mentioned that the interior of the car was damaged so badly, that the doors were locked shut, leading to the ultimate decision that breaking a window – and RUNNING – was the safest method of freeing the animal.
Sounds up for this one! Listen to the bear roar before Lade hits the glass.
