John Dudley Issued a Rut Action Forecast on Instagram; A ‘Storm’ is Approaching

We interrupt your work day with this rut action forecast brought to you by John Dudley of Nock On TV. If you’re deer hunting in the Midwest the next couple weeks, this ought to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

John Dudley is one of those guys in the outdoor industry that when he talks, you stop whatever it is you’re doing and listen. He’s one of the highest respected archery coaches worldwide, and brings with him endless amounts of education for bowhunters, target archers and 3D archers.

Since Halloween – “the true beginning of deer season” – is officially in the books, we as deer hunters now shift our focus towards the “chaos” that’s about to ensue in the whitetail woods.

In a post on Instagram, John speaks to this “chaos” and how it’s currently ramping up as I type this. . .

The Whitetail Forecast for the Midwest – Right now is an important time for patience. We are in the eye of the storm, you see it coming, but it’s still in the distance. We had Rumbles but things are quiet again. Overall movement has unexpectedly slowed. We’ve had early surges of big bucks showing up, but they know too that the main hit is still a coming. They are preparing, We are anxious. But let the chaos develop. Smaller bucks are chasing, the big boys will cruise mid morning, doe will be in hiding. I think the big buck storm will hit hard Monday. BRACE for impact. #whitetailwednesday #whitetail #bowhunting #nockonnation #nockon #sickforit #builtforthewild #archery @traegergrills @hoytbowhunting @killcliff @eastonarchery @garlandanimalwellness @yeti @hecsstealthscreen @sitkagear @freerangeamerican @ragebroadheads @nockturnalnocks @stealthcamgsm @walkersgsm 📷 don’t know

Like he says, now is a time for patience, but after reading John’s rut action forecast we can’t help but feel all giddy inside as we dream of those cool crisp mornings filled with deer cruising under our treestands.

Remember, always stay safe and we wish you all the best of luck. May this season bring you great memories and freezers full of venison!
