Eva Shockey Harvests Her First Tarheel Buck

This deep into hunting season, the feigned social media ‘buck pole’ is typically full of trophy bucks, but we’re clearing a spot specifically for Eva Shockey and her first North Carolina tarheel buck.
Eva is certainly not short on whitetail hunting experience, but this hunt was particularly special. According to her, this was the first time she’s EVER harvest a buck sans a camera crew pointing a lens at her.
And despite all of her previous hunting experiences, you can totally feel all the excitement and emotions she was feeling after her buck fell:

Obviously, the adrenaline was still running strong as she described what happened, but prior to taking this buck, Eva said she passed on a nice 8-point because he looked a little young yet. Then, minutes later, this brute came walking by:
Way to get it done, Eva. What an awesome tarheel buck!
And to make it even better, she plans on donating the meat to @hunters_for_the_hungry for people who need it. Simply outstanding!
