Leaving car windows down or a door unlocked is a risky move in bear country. Just ask this fella who posted a video showing what appears to be the aftermath of a bear ‘detailing’ the inside of his car.
The video clip below leaves a lot of questions unanswered – for example, did the person filming have to actually extract the bear from that vehicle? And how did a bear manage to get stuck inside in the first place? It’s tough to say, but we’ll just assume the bear was already gone by the time this person showed up..
We still don’t know exactly how or why the bear broke into this vehicle. If we had to guess, though, our bet would be on some leftover food scraps under a seat or something.
See, bears are quite clever and have a very powerful sense of smell, so if they catch a whiff of something they want to eat.. well, they’re likely going to find a way to get at whatever it is. Luckily, it appears whatever caused the damage to this vehicle had already split before the person discovered what had happened.
From the looks of it, you wouldn’t want to be anywhere near that scene with that going on! Although, it would have made for a good video..
