[SHOT 2021] Winchester SHOT Show Specials Overview

Winchester Repeating Arms has released their exclusive list of firearms that will be featured as SHOT Show Specials during this year’s show. These rifles and shotguns are not found in the company’s catalog and it is not unusual for them to be in limited supply.

What is the SHOT Show?

Now, I know there’s a large number of you reading this who either know what SHOT Show is already, or maybe even attended a show in the past. But for those who aren’t familiar, here’s a brief summary of what the show is all about:

Held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada, SHOT Show is the largest trade show within the firearms industry. It is here where companies like Winchester Repeating Arms officially introduce new products to the market and provide dealers an opportunity to learn about and place orders for products. Because it is a trade show, attendance is limited to store buyers, store owners (and staff), the media and outdoor/gun writers.

For Winchester Repeating Arms, the SHOT Show also happens to be the time when they announce exclusive SHOT Show Specials. Usually limited edition models, SHOT Show Specials are some of the most interesting firearms we produce.

“2021 will be the first year since 1979 that the SHOT Show will not take place,” Winchester writes on their website. “However, we have worked hard to offer a variety of SHOT Show specials via our Virtual SHOT Show, and you can learn about them right alongside industry professionals and dealers right here on winchesterguns.com and through social media outlets such as Instagram and Facebook. Overall, this year Winchester offers 44 SHOT Show Special firearms that include XPR rifles (7 SHOT Show Special guns), Model 70 rifles (4 models), Wildcat rimfire rifles (3), Historical firearms such as lever-action and single-shot rifles (6), Super X4 semi-auto shotguns (12), Super X Pump pump-action shotguns (10), and Model 101 O/U shotguns (2).
