Mid to late-season waterfowl hunting is probably on everyone’s minds right now and that includes the Remington Ammunition company. Today they’ve just announced their newest waterfowl load – Remington Nitro-Steel Duplex. This new 12 gauge shotshell load features two different sizes of shot in each shell to increase your effectiveness both up close, and at longer ranges to make for a more well-rounded shotshell.

The two current shot combinations available in the new Nitro-Steel Duplex line are #2 and #6 shot, and #2 and #4 shot. Both loads feature a muzzle velocity of 1450 fps, and are intended for waterfowl hunting use. Compared to some of the more recently popular shotshells featuring more exotic materials or special wadding, Remington’s new Nitro-Steel duplex loads come in at a more affordable $40 per 25 shells making them more economical to pattern and hunt with.
