[ICAST 2024] FITEC Cast Net’s NEW SS1000 Tape Net

FITEC Cast Nets is back at ICAST 2024 with a brand new deep water taped net to show, the SS1000 Tape Net. FITEC has been in the business of cast nets since 1984 and is now the largest cast net manufacturer in the United States. Now they are making a more affordable option for deep water taped cast nets. The Super Spreader Series of nets uses a premium clear Japanese SPS Monofilament resin to make a softer net. This makes the nets perform better by spreading better and faster when thrown. The big thing that the new SS1000 Tape Net has now is Fitec’s insoluble tape on both sides of the net around the lead line of the net. Perfect for targeting bait down deep or going after shrimp. The tape ensures that the pancake of a throw stays open nice and wide as it sinks through the water column.

The FITEC Super Spreader 1000 Tape Nets come with 1 lb of leader per radius foot on the lead line and have heavy-duty 90 lb test braille lines. The handline is a high-floating 30ft braided poly rope and comes with the FITEC Komfort Kuff to keep your wrist comfortable throw after throw. These nets will be available in 3/8″ and 1/2″ mesh and 4′ to 8′ radius.
