Burlington, WA. – The Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA), the national governing body for the sport of speed shooting, has announced the official dates of next year’s Steel Challenge. The 2012 Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships will take place November 1-4 at the Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof, Florida.

Competition will begin Thursday, November 1, with the Open and Iron Sight Rimfire Pistol division events. Friday marks the first day of two days of centerfire pistol events including the Limited, Production and Revolver contests. Competition wraps up Saturday with the high-speed action of the Open pistol event.

Shooters wishing to compete in the 2012 Steel Challenge are encouraged to mark their match calendars and visitwww.SteelChallenge.com for regular updates, including announcements about the match hotel, shooters’ banquet, sponsors and early registration discount.
