Newtown, CT – Budweiser returns as official sponsor of the press room at the 2012 Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show). With more than 2,000 members of the press attending the show, the SHOT Show Press Room is host to the largest gathering of outdoor media in the world.

The SHOT Show is owned by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, and is produced and managed by Reed Exhibitions. The show is the largest of its kind in the world, attracting nearly 60,000 attendees and more than 1,600 companies exhibiting firearms, ammunition, outdoor apparel, law enforcement, optics, cutlery and related products and services.

Budweiser’s 2012 sponsorship marks the second year of a two-year commitment to be the official sponsor of the show’s press room. With its sponsorship, Budweiser joins Outdoor Channel, GunBroker.com and ArmaLite as major supporters of the SHOT Show.

In recognition of its support, Budweiser will have a high-visibility space in the press room and its logo featured on SHOT Show press registration webpages. Budweiser’s sponsorship underwrites in part the wireless Internet access for media working in the press room.
