Raising the bar again, the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA) launched a new content service to provide significant added value to its Corporate Partners, freelance opportunities to its Media Members and establish an as-it-happens news service to for the outdoor industry and all media/communicators interested in providing online, outdoor recreation news.
The Outdoor News Network (ONN) is a casual, man-on-the-street style video news service that reports outdoor industry news, and only news, utilizing the Outdoor Hub video platform. News briefs cover new products/technologies, industry/business, issues/legislative updates and much more.
ONN streams news as it happens from the outdoor industry’s most important events, including the Shooting Hunting Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show, National Rifle Association Annual Meeting, American Sportfishing Association’s ICAST Show, POMA Annual Business Conference, National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers Show and Archery Trade Association Show.
In addition to placement of news on Outdoor Hub’s video platform, which is similar to the YouTube platform but directly reaches avid outdoorsmen and women, ONN’s video news stream is offered via free news widgets available to any media outlet/individual, blogger or other entity interested in streaming outdoor industry news to website or blog visitors. Widgets are easily added to a website or blog by simply copying and pasting a few lines of html coding. The widget updates in real time as new videos are added to the ONN video channel.
Outdoor Hub and its network of 300-plus affiliate sites reach 11.5 million unique visitors monthly. In addition, the news widget placement and program outreach to the 300-plus members of the Outdoor Blogger Directory network further increases the program’s scope, making ONN one of the widest-reaching news services in the industry.
Companies interested in booking an interview with ONN for the ATA Show and/or SHOT Show, may do so now online at http://onn.lattiss.com. Interview slots are limited and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
