Beyond BOW to Host Self-Defense Class in Lincoln, Nebraska

Lincoln, NE – The Beyond Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) program is hosting a self-defense class Jan. 21 in Lincoln.
The class begins at 10 a.m. at Longoria’s Black Belt Academy, 1432 N. Cotner Blvd., Lincoln, 68505. A registration fee of $25 is due Jan. 14. Call Longoria’s Black Belt Academy at 402-466-2433.
The class is for women age 18 and older who want to learn skills to protect themselves in outdoor situations, such as camping or hiking. Beyond BOW is designed to allow women to learn various outdoor skills in a friendly, nonthreatening environment.
