Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Deluxe Will be Held at Saguaro Lake Ranch, Arizona

The Arizona Wildlife Federation announces the seventh annual Becoming and Outdoors-Woman ‘Deluxe’. This three-day workshop will be held at Saguaro Lake Ranch. The ranch is located on the banks of the Salt River and surrounded by the Bulldog and Superstition Mountains. Dates are January 27th through the 29th. We will begin Friday 1:00 PM and end Sunday noon.

This venue is perfect for the lady who likes a little extra comfort with her outdoor experience. The ranch is a family owned bed and breakfast with lots of amenities. This workshop will focus on the Sonoran Desert. We offer classes on general knowledge as well as outdoor activities that can be enjoyed in our beautiful desert.

Classes offered are boating sessions to be held on Saguaro Lake, Edible and Medicinal Desert Plants given by authors Jean Groen and Don Wells and Geocaching. Other classes include Outdoor Photography, Fly Fishing, Birding, Dutch Oven Cooking and Still Water Paddling, Predator Calling, Javelina Hunting, Desert Survival and Archery. An optional Trail Ride is also offered. There will be evening activities with campfires and entertainment.

The fee is $375.00 for the entire weekend. The price includes all meals, lodging, instruction and use of equipment. The Trail Ride is at an additional fee. The BOW Deluxe weekend would make an exciting and unique Christmas gift! Hurry, the workshop is limited to the first forty participants
