Pack-Rifle Combines a Rifle and Fishing Pole in One Lightweight Package

I came across an interesting product today called the Pack-Rifle by Mountain View Machine & Welding, Inc. The Pack-Rifle is a collapsible combination .22LR rifle and fishing pole designed with portability in mind. Amazingly, the entire package weighs a mere 15.5 ounces due to the use of lightweight materials like aluminum and carbon fiber. Given the Pack-Rifle’s size, only 17 inches long when folded, and weight I would imagine that carrying in your pack might save the wearer quite a bit of effort given the alternatives.
Here are some of the more detailed specifications from the manufacturer:

The receiver, and most other parts, of the Pack-Rifle are machined from high strength aluminum, while most wear parts and fasteners are constructed of stainless steel. The barrel is a precision button rifled, Cro-Moly liner with a carbon fiber composite outer. Carbon fiber is also used for the butt stock tube of the rifle. This construction makes the Pack-Rifle not only the lightest rifle out there, but very weather resistant also. In addition to being light, the Pack-Rifle also takes down to a very small size. The same mechanism that allows the loading and extraction of spent shells also enables the rifle to take down into two pieces, in less that 2 seconds and without tools. It reassembles just as fast. Other features include, but are not limited to, storage in the handle and butt stock tube of the rifle

I enjoy nearly all types of outdoor activities, especially those which allow me to travel to new and exciting locations. I love power sports whether they are on the water, roads, trails, or simply on untraversed terrain. I also have a particular obsession with anything riding on two wheels. As an avid motorcycle rider I try to spend as much time as possible on my bike, which in turn has allowed me to explore some of Michigan's most enchanting wilderness areas. Additionally, I enjoy and participate in many types of shooting sports, both recreational and competitive. I guess I try to do a little bit of every thing outdoors, and I am constantly searching for new and exciting outdoor activities. Testing.
