Edgefield, SC — The NWTF’s popular weekly television shows, “Turkey Call” and “Get in the Game,” will remain fixtures on Pursuit Channel as the result of a new two-year agreement extending through 2013.
“The NWTF is pleased to continue its relationship with Pursuit Channel, the premier network for outdoor enthusiasts and turkey hunters,” said NWTF CEO George C. Thornton. “The NWTF and Pursuit Channel share fundamental beliefs in the importance of conservation and the preservation of our hunting heritage.”
“Turkey Call,” an action-packed, magazine-style program takes viewers to spectacular hunts from all over North America while providing helpful tips on turkey calling, custom call collecting and wild-game cooking.
“Get in the Game” provides expert advice and examples from NWTF biologists and other recognized authorities on the best ways to bring wildlife to property as well as tips for habitat management and hunting success.
“Turkey Call,” presented by Mossy Oak, and “Get in the Game” are shown three times a week on Pursuit Channel. Viewers should check local listings for exact times in their area.
“Mossy Oak owes its roots to wild turkeys,” said Mossy Oak Founder and CEO Toxey Haas. “It was the love of pursuing spring gobblers that lead me to develop Mossy Oak camo, so it is more than natural that we devote ourselves to helping spread the message of the NWTF. Mossy Oak and the NWTF have been partners for years because we share a passion for conservation, land stewardship and the outdoor legacy. We share the same vision for the outdoors and are proud to continue our support of this fine organization as title sponsor of Turkey Call.”
The NWTF is the leader in upland wildlife habitat conservation, the driving force behind the restoration of the wild turkey in North America and an active protector of our hunting heritage.
