NPAA Annual Conference Poised to Break Attendance Record

The National Professional Anglers Association annual conference set for Minneapolis on January 6-8th is set to break last year’s attendance record with a potential crowd of nearly 200 attendees expected.  Stories of past fishing exploits to dreams of even bigger fish will be added to the greetings of friendship  Pat Neu, NPAA Executive Director said, “This conference is fun and educational with the opportunity to meet and greet industry leaders.”

Members and non-members are urged to register ASAP at www.npaa.net, or by calling 920-856-6151.  For those unable to attend, the Saturday sessions will be streamed live at the same website.  Lodging has been discounted to $79 per room night at Crowne Plaza for rooms booked prior to December 30th.  Use NPA as the group code when calling 877-810-5190.

Keynoters for the 2012 event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Suites at the Minneapolis airport include recent Forrest Wood Cup World Championship winner Scott Martin and North American Fishing Club Executive Director Steve Pennaz.

The agenda contains numerous working sessions about boat and other insurance coverage for Members, getting the most from social media, pro sessions on using photo and video gear for promotions and websites, successful sponsorship proposals, boat and outboard company sessions, news from NPAA supporting partners, conservation news from Wildlife Forever, Sea Grant and the US Forest Service, lessons on public relations, and a business meeting. According to Neu is there will also be an announcement of a non-profit 501C3 Future Angler Foundation and the impact this will have on the sport.
