“Under Wild Skies,” which showcases the finest, high-definition big-game hunting adventures on the continent of Africa, is back for an exhilarating second season on Outdoor Channel.
Join Tony Makris, host of the award-winning program, and the “Under Wild Skies” crew, as they experience the splendor of African excursions. This season, the danger and the thrill of the chase are turned up a notch as Makris and team head to the Republic of Botswana’s famed Okavango Delta – the world’s largest inland delta – and the extreme wilderness of the Republic of Mozambique. Catch rhinoceros dart hunts in South Africa and watch as they relocate elephants on the luxury private game reserve of Sabi Sands, located in the Mpumalanga province of the region.
From Botswana and Mozambique to Zimbabwe, “Under Wild Skies” provides Outdoor Chanel viewers with a glimpse into the people, places, and firearms that make up the sporting heritage. Host Tony Makris strikes a trail into Africa’s most pristine wilderness in search of the best big game hunting on the planet. True wilderness still exists, and viewers can find it every week, on “Under Wild Skies.”
Season two of “Under Wild Skies” will be making its debut on Sunday, January 1st at 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. ET, appearing every Sunday thereafter throughout the first quarter of 2012.
