OmniLift Joins the ACA and BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series

The Association of Collegiate Anglers has announced that OmniLift will join the 2012 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series as a series sponsor. OmniLift, a new product hitting the market in 2012, is a motorized lifting device designed to aid in adjusting, lifting, and ultimately stowing today’s electric motors, all at the push of a button. Collegiate anglers throughout the nation will have an opportunity to see and experience this new product first-hand over the course of the 2012 season, starting with the Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash in March.

The OmniLift is the result of several years of development and testing, which originated from a concept first formed by the late Jim Clark in 2007.  Jim and his partners, including CEO David Schrammel, spent a great deal of time building a product that can save valuable time and energy over the course of a day on the water.

According to David, “It took many iterations of our first invention to get to the point we are today; offering a quality product for anglers made right here in the USA.  If you fish, you know the time and energy spent wrestling trolling motors in and out of the water several times a day.  With our product, anglers can now Just Lift and Go!”

The OmniLift comes with several unique features. First, the OmniLift comes standard with a foot switch that allows a fisherman to have his or her pole in hand, while making effortless trolling motor height adjustments.  In addition to the foot switch, the unit can also be operated by an optional Remote Key Fob; offering the ease of simply touching a button to lower or raise the trolling motor in and out of the water in only a matter of seconds. The OmniLift also comes with a 32″ rack, which provides plenty of vertical adjustment to allow for clearance of submerged cover that might also be in the way. In the event you hit an unseen object, the OmniLift is also designed with a 360 degree breakaway system, thereby reducing bending or breaking of the trolling motor shaft and protecting your investment.

Professional anglers are already taking note of this time-saving product including Bassmaster Elite Series Pros, Terry Butcher and Fred Roumbanis, the first to join the pro staff.

In Butcher’s opinion, “When you fish for a living, having the right tools for the job is essential.  The OmniLift will be saving me both time and energy every day I’m out there, thereby increasing my efficiency.  Over the course of a season I’ll be getting more casts, any one of which could be the big one I’m looking for.  I’m excited to get mine rigged up for the upcoming season.”

OmniLift will start taking pre-orders in February, with product shipping by early March.  Anglers will be able to purchase these first units via the OmniLift website, located at:  www.theOmniLift.com.
