Core 15 Rifle Systems Gets Retro-Fit Contract for Alachua County Sheriff’s Office
Core 15 Rifle Systems announced today that they have been awarded a contract to retro-fit 128 M-16 rifles from the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (Florida). These rifles were procured by the Sheriff’s Office through the Northstar Program and are being reconfigured to meet the specifications of Alachua County’s Patrol and SWAT Divisions.
“Lt Ed Bennett, Rifle Program Cordinator, was the one who liked what Core 15 had to offer his Department,” commented Justin Raney, Core 15 Rifle Systems Law Enforcement Sales Manager. “In the contract we are also providing deputy-level use and field maintenance training for the rifles, as well as establishing an armorers training program for the Firearms Training Unit.”
