The Ultra-Light 28-gauge incorporates many of the same weight-reducing features that lightened up its other family members so noticeably, but this slim 28-gauge features a featherweight two-piece blued alloy receiver. Its 26-inch Crio® barrel is topped with a super-strong, super-light, carbon-fiber raised target vent rib that’s made from the same material employed on Formula 1 race cars. The carbon-fiber rib also employs a mid-bead and features a red-bar front sight. Trimmed down in every respect including a slim barrel and sleek shortened fore-end, the Ultra-Light 28 points and handles like a dream.
Hunters and target shooters alike will appreciate the Ultra-Light 28’s weather-resistant satin walnut WeatherCoat™ stock, which is sealed with a five-step finishing process, making it virtually impervious to the elements. The buttstock is also fitted with a gel recoil pad, providing maximum comfort and effective recoil absorption for the already light-kicking 28-gauge cartridge.
