Video: Hawke Optics Ballistics App for iPhone and iPad

Adding to a line of already very impressive technology, Hawke Optics has made it possible to use their ballistic software on the move in the outdoors with iPads and iPhones. In an email message, Trent Marsh, Hawke Optics’ branding and administrative support representative explained in more detail about the product and a few precautions.

The Ballistics App is an extension of our already very popular BRC program that is also available for free download from our website. Our program uses the specific user generated information of their specific firearm or crossbow to calculate the ballistic blueprint for their weapon of choice. This information is then used to relay to the user what yardages the aimpoints in the reticles can be used for. It is the most advanced, accurate ballistics software available.

The BRC Program or App is compatible with virtually any rimefire, centerfire, airgun, shotgun, muzzleloader or crossbow. If it fires a projectile the BRC can create a ballistics blueprint of that round. The reticles available in the BRC system are Hawke reticles only, and use its not recommended with other manufactures reticles as the spacing can not be verified.

Watch the following short video for a demonstration on how to use the Ballistic Application on iPhones and iPads from the SHOT Show floor.
