Limited-Edition Commemorative Rifle Being Created in Honor of New Mexico Centennial

In celebration of the New Mexico Centennial, a limited-edition commemorative firearm is being created by A&A Engraving of Rapid City, S.D.

This is a licensed New Mexico Centennial item and is a very limited edition of only 100 numbered rifles.

“Images for the engraving will depict various scenes of the history of this Enchanted State along with the official New Mexico Centennial logo”, according to Mark Smith, project manager.

“The detailed images will be intricately engraved and finished with 24-karat gold, antique gold, shiny nickel with a black background, making this a truly spectacular collector firearm,” Smith said. “The Henry “Big Boy” lever action rifle was chosen as the ‘canvas’ because of its easily recognizable style as well as a layout that allows the room required to include the appropriate images.”

Some of the images to be seen include the State Capitol, President Taft signing New Mexico in to statehood, the American flag (with 47 stars), the Gorge Bridge, the New Mexico Centennial logo – and more.

Included with each numbered rifle will be a certificate of authenticity and custom oak display case.

A & A Engraving has produced collector and commemorative firearms for more than 33 years. Some of the creations include the American Legion 90th Anniversary Pistol, Arizona Centennial Rifle and Pistol, and the Indy 500 Centennial.
