Bass Edge Goes Ike

Mike Iaconelli visits hosts Aaron Martin and Steve Brigman on February’s episode of the popular podcast, “The Edge” presented by KeelGuard. Ike shares his insights on fishing rivers as he prepares to compete in his 12th Bassmaster Classic, along with valuable tips on successful pre-spawn angling.
“I could listen to Mike all day,” Martin said “He’s like a bass fishing information machine. This is one of the longest interviews we’ve had because we just couldn’t get enough.”
Bass Tackle Depot’s Fil Torres also joins the Bass Edge crew for an update on the latest in bait trends and a look back at some traditional baits.
“We had fun with that, teasing Aaron that he thought a Hawaiian wiggler was a hula dancer,” Brigman said. “We’ve really loosened up this year with a lot more kidding around.”
Louisiana angler Joe Mitchell rounds out the show with a breakdown of his home waters, The Red River, and some predictions on how it will fish during the upcoming Classic.
