Berkley is known for creating the tackle, baits and lines that make anglers better. The 2012 Berkley pro team added some of the best rookies on this year’s 2012 Elite Series Tour. B.A.S.S. pros Fletcher Shyrock, Brandon Card and Michael Simonton have been added to the Berkley team for the upcoming 2012 Bassmaster Elite Series trail.
“This is a big jump for me and the rest of my newest team members,” said Card. “Berkley creates some of the greatest gear on the planet. I really appreciate the opportunity to go out there and mix it up with the great Elite anglers on the B.A.S.S. tour.”
Each of these anglers have dedicated themselves to the sport of bass fishing and continuing the tradition of great Berkley anglers. Shyrock, Card and Simonton rose through the ranks of the BASS Opens to compete on the 2012 Elite Series tour.
“We are seeing a growing trend of extremely talented young anglers,” said Brad Danbom, Berkley Bait Product Manager. “These young anglers are no different. They can flat out catch fish, and that is exactly what Berkley is geared toward. We strongly believe our products are the best on the market and they make anglers better.”
