Last Fall, Stack-On Products introduced a new portable security case with an electronic lock that meets TSA guidelines for airline travel for firearms. At the 2012 SHOT Show, Stack-On unveiled 3 additional portable cases to create a new exciting family of products that provides more options for storage.
These cases feature a slim line design which allows for storage under the seat of many cars and trucks. Foam padded interior protects the contents from scratching. All are designed to be secured by a steel cable (1500 lb test strength) that passed through the body of the case and is locked in place when the lid is closed. A cable is included with each unit.
Two of the new Portable Security Cases come with Biometric locks. The locks are programmed to accept 28 different fingerprints and include a backup trouble key. Biometric access provides greater security and easy access with no combinations to remember.
The other two Portable Security Cases operate using a 3 touch electronic key pad that can store a 3 to 8 digit code. Easy to use and program with the users personal code. A backup key is included.
Two sizes are available for each of the locking methods – a smaller, briefcase sized case that can hold a pistol plus room for valuable storage (dimensions are 11″ w x 12-1/2″ d x 2-3/8″ h) or its big brother that can hold 2 pistols plus room for valuables or an iPad/tablet (dimensions are 12-1/8″ w x 12-1/2″ d x 2-5/8″h).
