Avon Tyres Awards Custom Motorcycle to Clint Lawrence of JC Motors

Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America (Avon Tyres) was thrilled to award its custom built Avon 100th anniversary motorcycle to winning Avon Tyres dealer Clint Lawrence of JC Motors, Irvine, Calif. Lawrence and his wife Jessica were awarded the motorcycle during a special ceremony held at the 2012 Dealer Expo on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m., booth 1037. Lawrence, who has been an Avon Tyres dealer since 1994, could not stop smiling.
“It was incredible for us to win this amazing motorcycle, and we are thankful to Avon for putting this contest together for the dealers,” stated Lawrence. “I felt like the best way to win was just to focus on selling more tires!”
The motorcycle giveaway was part of the 2011 Avon Tyres Marketing Alliance Program (AMAP), and eligibility was based upon tire sales between March 1 and Dec. 31. Each time an AMAP dealer purchased a tire from their AMAP distributor, they earned a chance to win the motorcycle. The winner was selected by a random drawing.
Originally unveiled at the 2011 Dealer Expo, the motorcycle started with a base 2011 Yamaha YZF R1 and features more than 15 product sponsors including custom paint by renowned airbrush artist Carlos Avelar. For more information about this amazing project, visit http://www.avonmoto.com/project.
