Ewan McGregor plays Britain’s leading fisheries expert assigned to the task of transporting thousands of salmon from the cool waters of Scotland to the desert in Yemen at the request of a visionary sheik who believes that the peaceful pastime of fly-fishing will bond and enrich the lives of the war-torn Yemeni people.

The film focuses more on the topics of blind faith, modern environmental issues, politics and of course, the Hollywood romance. It’s an adaptation of a novel by Paul Torday of the same name. The film was released in Europe in 2011, and now will make its debut in the United States.
