It’s the latest court victory and an open-carry controversy, this week on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk (R) Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
Second Amendment Foundation’s President Alan Gottlieb drops in on Sunday with information on the latest victory. This one comes from Maryland, where a federal court ruled that the state conceal carry law – where one had to prove why they needed a permit – was unconstitutional. Setting off a flurry of comments on Gun Talk Radio and in cyberspace is the story of Nick Looman of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Looman was detained by local police after legally openly carrying his holstered pistol into an elementary school last Tuesday as he voted in a primary election. Up for discussion – Just because something is legal, should you do it? Callers last Sunday were on both sides. Hear more about it, and weigh in with your thoughts, when Looman stops by on Sunday.
