Lewmar’s new Head of Design is Nigel Smith

Peter Tierney, Lewmar’s CEO and Chairman, commented, “We are delighted to have Nigel joining the Lewmar team as Head of Design. He comes with great experience as Design Manager from a very well respected and successful company within our sector. I am confident he will add greatly to the development of the business in his new role heading up our design group.”
Nigel is a highly qualified designer, obtaining a Masters in Industrial Design Engineering at the Central School of Art and Design, London. Throughout his career his design input has attained numerous design awards and accolades. He has a wealth of experience within the leisure marine industry and combines this with a broad range of knowledge obtained within senior design roles at leading design consultancies.
Nigel’s principal task will be to push Lewmar’s product range to a new level with innovative, well-designed, robustly engineered and visually considered solutions.
