Tips Sought in Montana’s Fish Creek Deer Poaching Case

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens are looking for tips on a deer poaching case that occurred over the weekend in the Fish Creek drainage west of Alberton.

FWP Game Warden Justin Singleterry reported that multiple white-tailed deer were shot and abandoned between the late evening hours of Saturday, March 17 and early morning hours of Sunday, March 18. Wardens found the deer and are investigating and processing evidence collected at the scene.

Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call 1-800-TIP-MONT (1-800-847-6668). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to a conviction.
