Iconic Adventures and the Arthritis Foundation Partner on California Coast Classic Bike Tour sponsored by Amgen

Iconic Adventures, an outdoor adventure company that designs and executes active trips for companies and organizations, is partnering with the Arthritis Foundation to provide ride support for the 12th annual California Coast Classic (CCC), sponsored by Amgen, this fall. This year, the CCC has a new two-day, 150-mile weekend ride on September 15th and 16th, as well as an eight-day, 525-mile tour of the coast from September 9th – 16th along the Pacific Coast Highway. This ride is so important because it raises funds for cutting-edge research and programs for the 50 million Americans, including 300,000 children, who live with the everyday pain of arthritis.
“The work that the Arthritis Foundation is doing plays a vital role for so many people, both young and old. We are excited to be a part of the event this year and work with the incredible staff over at the California Coast Classic,” said Iconic President Joe Solomon. For Joe, this ride touches particularly close to home. “Arthritis is an issue that my family deals with on a daily basis, so any role that we can play in helping to find a cure is important to us.”
Truly an epic cycling experience, the California Coast Classic bike tour is supported by the professionals at Iconic Adventures. Serving as a fundraiser and an awareness builder for the Arthritis Foundation, this bike tour descends the California coast passing through one of America’s most magical and diverse landscapes. Amidst giant forests, fragrant farmlands, dazzling poppy fields and majestic beaches, the riders will pedal along Highway One. Eight-day participants will make their way from San Francisco to Santa Monica. The two-day participants will meet the tour in Buellton, finish with the group in Santa Monica and celebrate the completion of the ride with friends and family.
The CCC is the Arthritis Foundation’s #1 fundraising event, which has raised over $11 million since its inception.
