ABC Sports and Entertainment Regional Sales to Represent World Fishing Network

World Fishing Network, the only 24/7 television network dedicated to all segments of fishing, has selected ABC Regional Sports and Entertainment Sales (ABC RSES) as its exclusive advertising sales representative. The agreement, covering a wide array of advertising opportunities for both WFN and high definition WFN HD, was announced today by Mark Rubinstein, president and CEO of World Fishing Network, and John Watkins, president of ABC National Television Sales, which includes the ABC RSES unit.

Featuring top-quality programs hosted by the world’s foremost anglers, WFN content ranges from instruction, tips and tournaments to travel, food, boating and outdoor lifestyle. The network is available to 30 million TV households in major U.S. and Canadian markets through leading cable, satellite and telco distributors. In addition, WFN’s multimedia platform extends to free mobile apps for Apple and Android, the WFN Fishing Log app for iPhone and iPad, and the robust fishing website www.WorldFishingNetwork.com.

World Fishing Network’s Mr. Rubinstein said: “Fishing enthusiasts every day rely on WFN for an unrivalled 24/7 mix of entertainment, information and expertise – all sharply focused on the sport that’s their passion. We look forward to working closely with ABC RSES to further enhance the tremendous value that WFN’s loyal and growing audience offers advertisers and their agencies.”

ABC National Television Sales’ Mr. Watkins added: “WFN’s popular lineup of fishing and lifestyle programs provides the compelling content and stunningly beautiful visuals that are ideally suited to reach viewers dedicated to the sport.”
