NRA’s Guns & Gold Season 2 to Begin Filming Next Week

No doubt people are excited to witness an appraiser claim an item to be a rare and expensive find or completely debunk an item’s value, especially when the items in question are mostly old, family-owned firearms. Thanks to a highly successful first season with award-winning production team Warm Springs Productions, NRA’s Guns & Gold is signed up to film a second season to air on Sportsman Channel later this year.
Hank Williams Jr. appeared in this episode of NRA’s Guns & Gold where he shows his guns and describes his collection of other collector’s items.

Warm Springs Productions, the producer of multiple top-rated television series, today announced their groundbreaking series, NRA’s Guns & Gold, will commence filming for Season 2 of the series next week. Filming will take place at the Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show March 31 and April 1st.
“After a tremendously successful first season, we’re extremely excited to get the cameras rolling on some great new firearms,” said Marc Pierce, CEO of Warm Springs Productions. “And it’d be hard to pick a better location to kick of the new season than at the world’s largest gun show in Tulsa. We look forward to another dramatic and informative season and encourage anyone with an interesting piece to bring it out.”
Each year, at its annual convention and at the Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show, the National Rifle Association provides its members the opportunity to bring their old firearms to expert evaluators to learn more about their old gun and determine its value. On each occasion, hundreds of these novice collectors journey to the show, with the hope of discovering they are, in fact, the owner of a truly valuable treasure.
The series features the stories of ordinary NRA members and their journey before these expert evaluators, consisting of several National Firearms Museum curators. For each individual, the cameras will capture the reaction as they’re informed of the true value of their treasure. Additionally, the show will feature the in-depth background to each particular item.

The crew at Warm Springs Productions has more than 30 years of combined experience hosting, filming and producing hunting, fishing and outdoor adventure television. And since its founding in 2008, the company has experienced meteoric growth and currently produces series for Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, Travel Channel, History, and Discovery Science.
